The use of audio-visual media, such as animated films, has the potential to enhance young children’s language abilities in early childhood education settings. This study aims to evaluate the effect of audio-visual media on the development of early childhood language skills through interaction with animated films. The research employed a One-Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design with direct observation and inferential statistical analysis (validity and normality tests, and a t-test). Based on the t-test results, the pretest had a significant effect on the posttest (p = 0.024), which is less than 0.05. This indicates a significant difference in children’s language abilities before and after the use of audio-visual TV media at Raudhatul Athfal Al-Quraniyah, South Bengkulu. Therefore, it can be concluded that children’s engagement in watching animated films positively impacts the development of early childhood language skills, demonstrating the effectiveness of audio-visual media in supporting early language development.
2025-11-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Rici Oktari, Aan Kudrotulloh, Prety Citra Pratesi, Meysi Apriliani, Febri Yuridnir Rahimah https://jurnal.staithawalib.ac.id/index.php/altahdzib/article/view/689 The Influence of Principal Leadership on the Satisfaction with Early Childhood Education Services Quality 2025-11-24T15:20:34+00:00 Citra Aulia Uzliva citr4206@gmail.com Hilmi Qosim Mubah hilmiqosimmubah@iainmadura.ac.id Ach. A holistic approach is necessary to understand how morale, cooperation, professional practices, and facility management improve the effectiveness of early childhood education services. This study aims to analyze the effect of school principal leadership on the quality of Early Childhood Education services. The research used a quantitative correlational method with questionnaires administered to 35 respondents. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS through validity, reliability, and t-statistics tests to ensure the instruments' accuracy and the significance of variable relationships. The research findings revealed that school principal leadership (SPL) had a positive and significant impact on service quality (SQ), with an Original Sample of 0.791, a T-statistic of 17.960, and a P-value of 0.000. This indicates that morale, cooperation, active and professional learning, as well as the utilization and maintenance of equipment, play a significant role in creating quality administrative services and optimizing the use of school facilities. In conclusion, SPL significantly influences SQ, suggesting that morale, cooperation, professional learning, leadership, and the use of facilities are crucial in improving administrative service quality and overall school effectiveness.
2025-11-11T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Citra Aulia Uzliva, Hilmi Qosim Mubah, Ach. This study aims to enhance children's spiritual abilities through interactive, contextually relevant outdoor Islamic Religious Education activities. The research employed an experimental design with observational data from 15 students. Data analysis was conducted using validity testing and t-tests in SPSS. The study's pretest results indicated low to moderate spiritual abilities in early childhood (average score 1.33–1.67), particularly in identifying religion, mimicking worship movements, reciting prayers, and distinguishing between good and bad behaviour. Observation of Outdoor Islamic Religious Education activities revealed improvement, with children displaying increased enthusiasm, greater orderliness in the mosque/musholla, greater independence during ablution, greater mimicry of prayer movements, and greater diligence in reading the Qur'an (average score 2–3, categorized as Moderate–Good). The posttest showed a significant improvement (average score 2.33–2.67), reflecting a better understanding of religious teachings, improved worship skills, and positive behaviour. Pearson validity test (r=0.977, p=0.000) and the t-test (p=0.000) confirmed that the data were valid and showed a significant increase in spiritual intelligence. This study aims to examine how CBS manifests in the workplace culture of ECE teachers and to explore collaborative leadership strategies to mitigate such behaviours. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation involving 9 participants across three ECE centres in Merauke, Indonesia. Thematic analysis was conducted using Braun and Clarke’s six-step framework. The findings reveal that CBS manifests as fear of dominance, resistance to change, and avoidance of open collaboration. However, interventions such as weekly reflection forums, collective appreciation systems, and participatory leadership proved effective in fostering trust, enhancing team cohesion, and nurturing a more constructive work environment. This study concludes that organisational designs that promote psychological safety and transparent communication are essential in countering harmful competitive cultures. Theoretically, the research contributes to the understanding of micro-organisational dynamics in educational settings, while practically, it offers concrete recommendations for ECE administrators to cultivate inclusive and collaborative workplaces.
2025-11-20T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Mega Suteki, Retno Wuri Sulistyowati, Diah Harmawati, Wahyudin, Antonius Along https://jurnal.staithawalib.ac.id/index.php/altahdzib/article/view/692 The Impact of Islamic Religious Education on Children's Worship Abilities at Home 2025-11-24T15:22:08+00:00 Ade Imun Romadan adeimun1994@gmail.com Dadan Sunandar dadansunandar68@gmail.com Mona Qonitah mona_qonitah@azhar.edu.eg Lailatul Fithriyah Azzakiyah layla.fithri.azzaki@gmail.com Muzakki Muzakki muzakki@uin-palangkaraya.ac.id
Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in shaping character, strengthening religious moderation, and supporting the spiritual and moral development of children from an early age in Indonesia. This study aims to analyse the influence of Islamic Religious Education on children's worship abilities and the formation of religious character in early childhood. The research employs a correlational quantitative design with a sample of 65 students. Data were collected via questionnaires administered to parents and analysed using SmartPLS, which included validity and reliability tests, as well as tests of the significance of relationships between variables. The results show that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education has a positive and significant effect on children's worship abilities, with an estimated influence of 0.386. An increase in the Islamic Religious Education Implementation (IIRE) has been proven to improve children's skills in worship practices, such as reading Iqra', performing salawat, azan, dhikr, and wudu, with a t-statistic value of 4.197 and a p-value of 0.000. Regular religious activities at school not only impart knowledge but also familiarise children with the practical aspects of worship. With a standard deviation of 0.092, children become more confident, skilled, and spiritually disciplined, resulting in a significant improvement in their worship abilities at home. The conclusion is that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education significantly enhances children's worship abilities, builds practical skills, spiritual discipline, and self-confidence from an early age.
2025-11-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ade Imun Romadan, Dadan Sunandar, Mona Qonitah, Lailatul Fithriyah Azzakiyah, Muzakki
