Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe and explain the integration of Islamic Religious Education with the scout movement in increasing the altruism of students at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran. This type of research is qualitative, with a case study approach. Research subjects with purposive and snowball. Data collection techniques with documentation, observation, and interviews. Data processing with reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate: First, the implementation of the curriculum adapts to the basic sense and households of school scout activities. Second, Scouting at the base is going well, through the planned work program. Third, the connection between scouting and altruism lies in the Scout Movement's code of honor which is applied through Islamic Religious Education and scouting education. Fourth, the implementation of scouting activities that strengthens the altruistic spirit lies in the Dasa Darma and Tri Satya which are applied through regular Islamic Religious Education and scouting education.
